POWERS
jono is a mutant who is naturally composed of pure psionic energy. with the injuries he suffered when his powers manifested, jono has no need to eat, drink, or breathe. it has been theorized that his body is merely an unliving shell to contain his psionic energy, since his body currently lacks major organs, such as heart and lungs.

jono is able to project large blasts of psionic energy from the area where his torso existed, and is also capable of telepathic speech. his telepathic speech is his only way of communication, since his initial blast destroyed his mouth, voice box, and lungs.

HISTORY
before the advent of his mutant powers, he had the time of his life; he was a musician, he looked great and he had a wonderful girlfriend, gayle edgerton. unfortunately, it was too good to be true for hono. his powers literally erupted out of him one night which resulted in half his face and chest blown apart by the psionic energy that came from within. during the blast, gayle was injured leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. left with only half a face and without a torso, he kept a mask wrapped around himself which left people thinking that he was a burn victim or even a movie star trying to remain anonymous. without a mouth to sing, eat or even breathe with, he supposedly lives off of his biokinetic energy. obviously, this has left our british lad kinda low, depressed and very bitter. he is quite a loner and hides from the rest of the school.
